As the son of a transplant recipient, organ donation has always been an interesting and important topic for me.

This film takes a different angle to stories about organ donation. Not the usual one life can save seven or the changes people make when they are given a second chance at life. It talks about something more relatable. The waiting for a transplant.

The excruciating, phone-obsessed, fluid-restricted agony of not knowing if you'll get a transplant, and what that does to the relationships with the people in your life.

I’m looking to produce it by the end of 2023. If you’re the kind of person who likes to read the book before they see the movie, drop me an email and I’ll send you the script.
